[Planning] LULA Meet-ups

I just joined the LULA mailing lists, so I haven't had a chance to see
all the chatter on when actual LULA meet-ups may occur.  From my
recollection of the website, there was mention the LULA is primarily
mailing list driven.  Any recent discussions regarding actual meet-ups
for the group, even if they are at other events?  Speaking of which,
anyone planning on attending SCALE 8x?  I did breeze through the
archives and I can see that at least since December of 2008 there
hasn't been any real meeting activity.  I'm local to UCLA/West L.A. so
that's my target area for chatting with fellow Tux lovers.

Anyway, look forward to contributing to the lists and learning a thing
or two, and maybe even helping out here and there.
